Content Raven Signs International Reseller Agreement With WAMNET Japan
Japanese Data Management Powerhouse to Integrate Content Raven's
Security Solution Into Its Cloud File Sharing and Transfer Service
MARLBOROUGH, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/18/13 -- Content Raven, a
content security company that helps enterprises achieve greater
control over their intellectual property as it is being shared
externally, today announced that it has entered into a reseller
agreement with WAMNET Japan K.K. (WAMNET), a market leader in secure
digital data transfer. Under the terms of the agreement, WAMNET will
be able to provide its customers with Content Raven's content
security solution as part of its GigaCC cloud-based file sharing and
transfer service.
Content Raven's unique, easy-to-use "trusted viewing" solution
enables users to securely share and track rich media, video, and
other critical documents across any device, including mobile, without
risk of loss or abuse. Content Raven ensures secure distribution of
content by protecting the actual files and giving senders complete
control over how and where those files are accessed by the recipient.
Content Raven offers analytics that show senders who sees their
content and how it is being used. They can also track the geographic
location of viewers, the frequency of views, duration of each view,
and even the type of device it is viewed on.
"When we queried our customers about what they needed the most, a
clear majority indicated that they were seeking a simple, effective
way to protect their proprietary data that went beyond the
capabilities of digital rights management (DRM) solutions. We chose
to partner with Content Raven because it offers the most
comprehensive, easy-to-use content security product on the market
today," said Nobuyuki Fukui, president and CEO of WAMNET. "Our
relationship with Content Raven will enable us to offer our customers
the advanced content protection services they demand without the cost
or complexity of conventional DRM solutions."
In support of the strategic relationship with WAMNET, Content Raven
has launched a fully localized version of its content control
solution, including a Japanese language website and user interface,
and locally installed servers. This marks Content
 Raven's second
international expansion, following its entry into the European market
in 2012.
"We see enormous potential for data security in Asia, where the
adoption of mobile technology is particularly swift, and a widespread
movement to the cloud is underway," said Ron Matros, CEO of Content
Raven. "We are proud to partner with WAMNET Japan and provide the
technology that will enable them to enhance their data security
offerings and give customers a better way to protect their
intellectual property."
