Chipworks has found a Cypress CapSense^® controller drives the “menu” and
“back” buttons in the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone. The Chipworks Galaxy
Note 3 teardown mentions the phone’s buttons support usage with
gloved-fingers, and identifies the new CY8C20055 controller as “likely adding
in the glove-friendly feature.
