of Geospatial Technology 
Teams With US Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) to Make
Imagery, Data, and Technology Grants to USGIF Accredited Schools 
LONGMONT, CO -- (Marketwired) -- 10/11/13 --   DigitalGlobe (NYSE:

launch of the DigitalGlobe Foundation, a nonprofit organization
focused on fostering the growth of the next generation of geospatial
technology professionals.

As part of its long-term initiatives, the DigitalGlobe Foundation is
particularly pleased to expand its partnership with U.S. Geospatial
Intelligence Foundation (USGIF). Herndon, VA-based USGIF sponsors and
promotes geospatial educational programs and has accredited
geospatial programs at eight universities.

military and civilian academic institutions that need access to
imagery, information, expertise and tools in order to advance their
research, develop their skills, and understand the unique potential
of the geospatial industry and tradecraft.
