Books-A-Million, Inc. (Nasdaq/NM: BAMM) today announced that all BAM! stores
will be celebrating Educators’ Day on Saturday, October 12^th from Noon to 4
p.m. The BAM! Educators’ Day will be a special event for educators with extra
savings, giveaways and prizes. Free goodies include posters, study guides and
classroom event kits from publishers like Simon & Schuster, Penguin, and
Random House. During Educator Week, teachers can also enter to win a $1,000
BAM! shopping spree for their classroom by visiting

From October 12^th–18^th educators will also receive more of what they love –
25% off their classroom purchases with their BAM! Educator Discount Card. The
FREE BAM! Educator Discount Card offers educators, librarians and
homeschoolers – Pre-Kindergarten through 12^th Grade – a 20% discount off the
original price on most books used in the classroom. From October 12^th–18^th
the discount will be 25% off the original price on most books used in the
classroom. Educators simply have to complete a BAM! Educator Discount Card
application at any register and present valid educator and photo
identification to receive their BAM! Educator Discount Card and start saving.
For stores that feature a Joe Muggs Café, teachers can receive a free tall
coffee or hot tea of their choice at the educator kickoff event. A community
specialist will be on hand to answer questions about bookfair and book drive
opportunities, plus a demonstration of NOOK® educational apps. This season’s
hottest kids’ and teen titles will be featured, as well as upcoming storytime
