Videocon Telecom has recently made a comeback into the Telecom industry and has a strategic presence across the Northern corridor of the country forming the Hindi speaking belt. The company has been making huge investments in the business & has successfully rolled out 3 out of 6 license acquired in Nov'12 auction. The brand has almost doubled its Network presence in the four operating circles including Punjab & is all set to rollout the remaining three circles within the next 12 months. Videocon Telecom finds the sharp cut in the reserve spectrum floor price for the 900 Mhz spectrum to be very attractive and is seeing it as a big opportunity. The brand is evaluating to bid for the 900 Mhz license in Delhi in the upcoming Jan'14 auction . The brand has appointed Deloitte to evaluate the opportunity & present a business case on the same.
