Mindshare Technologies, a leader inVoice of the Customer(VoC) technologies,
today announced the appointment of Kristi Knight, former vice president of
marketing at Vivint, to chief marketing officer (CMO). In this newly created
position, Knight will leverage her extensive corporate marketing background to
lead Mindshare’s marketing team and guide strategic direction for the
company’s expanding global brand.

Knight will seek to accelerate the company’s growth and bolster its position
as a leader in the customer feedback industry following Mindshare’s recent
acquisition of Empathica. As CMO, she will oversee all global marketing
initiatives including corporate marketing, product marketing, customer
marketing, lead generation, public relations and analyst relations.

With more than 20 years of experience building strategic marketing and
communication programs, Knight has had a successful career that includes
building and positioning two companies for billion-dollar acquisitions –
Vivint’s sale to Blackstone in 2012 for just over $2 billion and Omniture’s
sale to Adobe Systems in 2009 for $1.8 billion.

At Vivint, Knight’s marketing efforts were instrumental in facilitating future
growth opportunities. In addition to leading a company-wide rebrand
transitioning a home security company known as APX Alarm into a leader in the
home automation industry, she also created an integrated marketing department
encompassing digital marketing, government and community relations, public and
analyst relations, videography, design, writing and social media.

Before Vivint, Kristi was senior director of corporate communications for
Omniture, where she helped establish the company as the global leader in web
analytics. Over the course of several years, she guided Omniture’s
communications through numerous ventures, including its rebrand, its IPO in
2006, the acquisition of five other companies, and its sale to Adobe in 2009.
