iBasis and TDC Renew Strategic Outsourcing Agreement for International Voice
BURLINGTON, Mass. & COPENHAGEN, Denmark -- October 1, 2013
iBasis, a KPN company, and TDC, the leading telecommunications company in
Denmark, today announced that the companies have renewed their outsourcing
agreement, which was originally established in 2008 and expired earlier this
year. Following a competitive RFP process and review, TDC chose to renew the
agreement with iBasis.
Under the terms of the new three-year agreement, iBasis continues to be the
primary provider of international voice services for TDC, while TDC continues
to be iBasis’ preferred provider for terminating traffic within the Nordic
countries. In addition, TDC will benefit from iBasis’ anti-fraud solutions,
and the companies will explore implementing new service innovations in mobile
data and LTE.
