Tech Data's Banning and Natarajan Named to CRN's 100 People You Don't Know But
Should List

CLEARWATER, Fla., Sept. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tech Data Corporation
(Nasdaq:TECD) today announced that both Greg Banning, the company's vice
president, SMB Sales and general manager, Costa Rica Operations, and Bharath
Natarajan, the company's director, Product Marketing, TDCloud and Software
Services have been named by CRN to the 2013 100 People You Don't Know But
Should list. Chosen by the CRN editorial staff with input from vendor,
distribution, and solution provider executives, the list recognizes those who
have demonstrable impact on vendor channel strategies, initiatives and
programs. According to CRN, the list aims to recognize people working within
the channel who are not necessarily in the spotlight, but are working behind
the scenes to make positive things happen for their partners.

Banning rejoined Tech Data in April 2011 as vice president, SMB Sales and
general manager, Costa Rica Operations. In this role, he is responsible for
the development and deployment of Tech Data's SMB sales strategy, leading a
sales force focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience to the
company's SMB reseller base. Over the past year, Banning oversaw the
introduction of TDPrioritySMB, a dedicated program for SMB resellers designed
to provide them with specialized sales support, services and credit options
that help them profitably grow their business.

current role, Natarajan served in a global IT role, where he played an
integral part in the development of the company's StreamOne platform, which
