  Lafarge Places a 7 Year 750 Million Euro Bond

PARIS -- September 20, 2013

Regulatory News:

Lafarge (Paris:LG) placed today, under its Euro Medium-Term Note program, a
750 million euro bond with a 7year maturity and fixed annual coupon of 4.75%
to institutional investors.

The proceeds of this transaction will be used to refinance part of Lafarge’s
existing debt.

The settlement and issuance of the bond are expected to occur on September 30,
2013.
