Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions announces product enhancement as part of a
coordinated effort across its channel solutions to provide an “any channel”
approach to integration. The new standardized file import functionality
provides clients with a greater diversity of integration options thus
delivering increased flexibility and convenience to in exchanging messages and
files.

This new enhancement continues Citi’s commitment to a superior client
experience for connectivity and integration – and enables Citi’s institutional
e-banking platform, CitiDirect Banking Evolution (BE) to accept ISO XML files
– a true global EDI standard that improves integration with many ERP systems
and treasury workstations to deliver payment instructions.

Delivering an additional connectivity option to CitiConnect, Citi’s premier
connectivity solution, this enhancement provides clients with the flexibility
to choose the right delivery channel based on their integration needs and
system capabilities. “We are extremely pleased to offer this enhanced
capability to clients,” said Hubert JP Jolly, Global Head of Channel and
Enterprises Services at Citi’s Treasury and Trade Solutions. “It offers the
interoperability and a choice that clients want and need, helping them gain
more efficiencies and ease of use.”

“The option to use CitiDirect BE File Import to upload our ISO XML files has
helped us to accelerate our project with Citi.” said Giancarlo Cicuttini,
Treasurer at Brembo Group. “This allowed us to best leverage the existing
capabilities of our payments system without having to create a new host-2-host
interface to Citi.”
