Wilshire Bancorp Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wilshire Bancorp, Inc.
(Nasdaq:WIBC), the parent company of Wilshire State Bank, announced today that
the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.03 per
common share. The dividend will be paid to all stockholders of record as of
September 30, 2013, payable on October 15, 2013.

The dividend was approved by the Board of Directors on August 28, 2013 pending
regulatory approval, which was received on September 9, 2013.
