Strengthens Commitment to the Lighting Market

California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) at the University of California,
The CLTCs mission is to advance the development and commercialization of
energy-efficient lighting and daylighting technologies through research and
development, instruction, and partnerships with utilities, manufacturers, end
users, builders, designers, researchers, academia, and government agencies.
Rambus’ product portfolio includes A19, PAR30, and BR30 LED lamps, all of
which utilize MicroLens® optical technology. These solutions provide excellent
energy efficiency and broad dimmer compatibility, are designed to manage heat
in a highly effective manner, and address the needs of end users, lighting

The California Lighting Technology Center (CLTC) is a research, development,
and demonstration facility for energy-efficient lighting at the University of
California, Davis. CLTC is a unique and dynamic organization, working at the
intersection of research, industry, and government.
CLTC was developed through a collaborative effort between the California
Energy Commission, the U.S. Department of Energy, and the National Electrical
Manufacturers Association to advance energy-efficient lighting and daylighting
technologies. CLTC was established in 2003 at the University of California,
