USMD Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: USMD), a physician-led integrated healthcare
system, announced today that four new physicians — Karen Klatte, M.D.; Aungel
Evans, M.D.; Robin Johnston, M.D.; and Ayesha Khan, D.O. — have joined USMD
Affiliated Services. These new physicians have been added to support the
growing healthcare needs of the communities USMD serves.

“I am very pleased to welcome these four physicians to USMD,” said John House,
M.D., chairman and chief executive officer of USMD Holdings. “The DFW area is
growing rapidly. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Dallas ranks seventh on
the list of cities with the largest population increases, and Fort Worth ranks
tenth. Adding these physicians will allow USMD to continue providing our
patients with high-quality, affordable and personalized medical care.”

Dr. Klatte, a cardiologist, has joined USMD at its Midlothian location. Adding
a second cardiologist to USMD’s growing network of physicians was necessary
