SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 4, 2013

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Douglas Emmett, Inc.
(NYSE: DEI), a real estate investment trust (REIT), announced today that its
Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on each share of its
common stock of $0.18, or $0.72 on an annualized basis.  The dividend will be
paid on October 15, 2013 to shareholders of record as of September 30, 2013.
