ACE Adds Eight to Continental Europe Multinational Team; Launches New
PARIS -- September 3, 2013
ACE Group today announced the addition of eight new colleagues to its
multinational insurance team in Continental Europe as it continues to invest
in enhancing its capabilities and service for multinational clients and
brokers across the region.
Ana Thomas has been appointed to the role of Multinational Service Unit Leader
for France. Working with existing members of the regional team, Ana will be
responsible for setting, enhancing and ensuring the delivery of ACE’s service
standards for the multinational segment in ACE’s largest market in the region.
Ana will also manage ACE’s new multinational graduate programme.
Ana has nine years of insurance industry experience and joins the company from
Marsh in France where she was most recently responsible for a team of eight
handling the placement and coordination of multinational accounts in the
middle market segment. Previously she worked for Marsh in Brazil as a client
relationship manager. Ana will be based in Paris and will report to Francois
Marion, ACE’s Operations Director for Property and Casualty in France and to
Clive Hassett, Director of Multinational Services for Europe at ACE.
ACE has also recruited seven graduates as the first cohort of the company’s
new multinational graduate programme for Continental Europe, which will be
launched this week. The seven graduates come from France, Spain, Netherlands,
Portugal and Sweden and will be working in the Paris regional headquarters
initially, before being deployed to other key European markets.
During their first year of the two-year programme, the majority of the
graduates will be working as international coordinators within the
Multinational Service Unit (MSU) team, focusing on delivering various
initiatives to maintain and improve ACE’s service for multinational clients
Joe Clabby, Regional President for Continental Europe at ACE, said:
“I am very pleased to have Ana on board. Her previous experience in
customer-facing roles will be invaluable as we further enhance our
multinational offering for clients in France and across Continental Europe.
“The multinational graduate programme is a first for ACE. We have recruited
the brightest and best from across Continental Europe as we further develop
our multinational proposition to support the evolving needs of our customers.
This reflects the importance we place on service for this key segment and
provides another example of ACE investing for the future.”
