RENO, Nev. -- September 2, 2013

McDonald’s restaurants throughout Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe and Truckee will
begin offering any size of McCafe Premium Roast Coffee for just $1 on
September 2. Customers can visit any participating location to receive the
offer all day.

Nevada restaurants participating in the program reside in the following
counties: Washoe, Carson City, Humboldt, Lyon, Douglas, Churchill, Pershing,
Mineral and Lander. Customers can also visit McDonald’s restaurants in
Susanville, South Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City and Truckee to enjoy the offer.

McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee is 100% Arabica beans, a blend of beans from
Central and South America, and is freshly brewed daily to deliver a quality
cup to every customer.

“Coffee has quickly become a preferred beverage choice for many of our
customers so we are thrilled that we can share McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee
with them at such an exceptional value,” said Robert Humason, a
Reno/Tahoe-area McDonald’s owner and operator. “Our guests can now enjoy a
freshly brewed cup of coffee any time throughout the day at a great price and
we are excited to provide them with this great value.”

McDonald’s Premium Roast Coffee has consistently rated among the best in the
industry, ranking third in the 2011 and 2012 Zagat Fast Food Survey.

According to Health Magazine, coffee can help fight disease, boost brainpower
and lower risk for Type II diabetes and obesity. Additionally, studies have
shown that coffee consumption continues to increase and has become the
preferred beverage over soft drinks.

The $1 any size coffee offer follows the current $1 any size beverage
promotion that began in local McDonald’s restaurants in 2010. No coupon is
necessary for this offer.
