About the Lawsuit
LightInTheBox and certain of its executives are charged with issuing
a series of materially false and misleading statements during the
Class Period, violating federal securities laws.
These false statements and omissions included, in part, that: (i)
LightInTheBox's sales growth had dramatically decreased during the
second quarter of 2013; (ii) LightInTheBox's costs had grown more
than its sales during the second quarter of 2013; and (iii) the
Company was not on track to achieve the financial results defendants
had led the market to expect during the Class Period.
On August 19, 2013, the Company announced its second quarter 2013
financial results, which were significantly below expectations,
causing the Company's shares to fall by almost 40%.
