Alcatel-Lucent : Alcatel-Lucent appoints Jean Raby as Chief Financial & Legal

Paris, August 28, 2013 - Alcatel-Lucent today announced the appointment
ofJean Raby as Chief Financial & Legal Officer,effective September 1, 2013.
Jean Raby will relocate toAlcatel-Lucent's headquarters in Paris.

Jean Raby served as a Partner and Managing Director in the Investment Banking
Divisionat Goldman Sachs until the end of 2012.In this position, he built
relationships andprovided strategic and corporate finance advice to clients
acrossmultiple industry sectors, including in telecom and information
technologies.Previously, he worked as an associateattorney with Sullivan &
Cromwell from 1989 to 1996. Jean Raby wasborn and raised in Canada. He holds
a LLB from the Université Laval inQuebec City, a MPhil in International
Relations from the University of Cambridge in the UK and a LLM from the
Harvard Law School. Hewas admitted to the New York Bar in 1988.
