Energy Leaders to Address Dynamic Changes in the Global Energy Sector at
Singapore International Energy Week 2013
SINGAPORE -- August 27, 2013
Now in its sixth edition, this year’s Singapore International Energy Week
(SIEW) will feature a line-up of esteemed speakers including several
government leaders and industry captains who will be speaking at the event for
the first time.
Malaysian Minister for Energy, Green Technology and Water Y.B. Datuk Seri Dr
Maximus Ongkili, Queensland Government Minister for Energy and Water Supply
Mark McArdle and the United States Department of State Deputy Assistant
Secretary for Energy Diplomacy Amos Hochstein will deliver their insights on
the dynamic changes afoot in the global energy sector at SIEW’s annual
high-level dialogue, the Singapore Energy Summit (SES), which will set the
scene for the week’s discussions by addressing evolving energy trends that
could impact the global energy map.
Cheniere Energy Chief Executive Officer Charif Souki, International Energy
Agency (IEA) Chief Economist Dr Fatih Birol and State Grid Corporation of
China Executive Vice President Yang Qing will also share their perspectives on
the evolving energy landscape at the SES. Other confirmed high-level speakers
at SIEW 2013 include:

SIEW 2013 will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre from
