NIRI Announces Call for Presentations
Call for Presentations for the 2014 NIRI Annual Conference Closes on September
ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- August 15, 2013
The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) today announced its Call for
Presentations process for the 2014 NIRI Annual Conference.
“We are pleased to open the process for submissions from thought leaders in
the investor relations community,” said Mark Donohue, NIRI Director, 2014
Annual Conference Co-Chair, and vice president, investor relations and
corporate communications, Impax Laboratories, Inc. “Input from the community’s
best and the brightest further enhances peer-based IR practice exchange at the
world’s largest IR event with more than 1,300 attendees.”
Conference Co-Chair Laura Graves, vice president, investor relations, Polycom,
Inc., added “Our theme of ‘Extreme IR’ connects well with the investor
relations job. Extreme IR means pushing the profession and one’s career to the
limit, and the 2014 Conference in Las Vegas will deliver on that theme in a
fast, furious, and highly-connected environment.”
The NIRI 2014 Annual Conference will offer many new experiences, expanding on
the well-respected content and networking of previous conferences, while
featuring the Experience Showcase where IR teams can “outfit” themselves for
the extreme elements in today’s business environment.
“This is the opportunity for everyone in the IR community to demonstrate
thought leadership by sharing insight on how to excel, and we look forward to
reviewing session ideas that support our core principles of advancing the
practice of investor relations and professional competence,” said NIRI
President and CEO, Jeff Morgan.
More information on the NIRI Call for Presentations process is available at
www.NIRI.org/cfp. Submissions must be posted online by September 15, 2013.
The 2014 NIRI Annual Conference is June 8-11 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
