TranSwitch’s TXC-44152 HDplay transceiver has been selected by InFocus as an enabling video solution for two new projector platforms that will drive the design of several new projector models, with production starts planned by early Q1 2014. According to PMA Research, the worldwide projector market continues to increase and is anticipated to reach 9.5 million units in 2013. According to a report by TechNavio, HDMI- and DisplayPort-enabled device shipments are forecasted to increase at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.7% and 31.6%, respectively, from 2012 to 2016. The TXC-44152 transceiver provides two video inputs including a quad-mode input port supporting HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort 1.2, MHL™ 2.0, and Mobility DisplayPort (MyDP) 1.0.
