Security at Flash Memory Summit

What: Members of the Trusted Computing Group will participate in
sessions at the Aug. 13-15 Flash Memory Summit.
In the Security track, organized by Michael Willett of
Samsung, experts will address data protection. Monty Forehand,
Seagate Technology, will present "Standards Based Erasure and
Disposal of Solid State and Hybrid Devices.”
The panel session, “What, Me Worry? Is Flash Security an
Issue?”, will be led by Rick Fetik, Data Confidential. The
panel will include discussion among representatives from
Seagate, Samsung, Wave Systems and Cipher Solutions.
When: Tues., Aug. 13, Sessions 103 and 104-A, Security, 3:15 p.m.
Where: Flash Memory Summit, Santa Clara Convention Center
The Flash Memory Summit program is designed to provide
attendees with practical information on the current state of
flash memory and its applications. The Summit Program consists
of an all-day tutorial, panel discussions, keynotes, paper
sessions, workshops and special sessions.
