Arise Virtual Solutions Awarded Outsourced Services Contract by BT
BT Ireland Selects Arise to Deliver Outsourcing Services in Northern Ireland
Based on Its Proven Ability to Flex Resources in Real-Time to Mirror Actual
DUBLIN -- July 24, 2013
Arise Virtual Solutions, the leading global provider of virtual/work-at-home
business process outsourcing (BPO) and crowdsourcing solutions, announced
today that BT Ireland has selected Arise to help deliver outsourced service
support for one of its clients in Northern Ireland. Arise will provide
on-demand support services to BT to ensure appropriate service levels in
emergency and unplanned situations.
Arise’s virtual model and crowdsourcing solution uses a global network of
pre-qualified independent businesses and their agents to provide services from
geographically-dispersed home offices. When the BT customer faces emergency or
unexpected business fluctuations, this network of resources can be flexed up
or down within minutes, helping deliver consistent, high-quality customer care
at all times.
“BT continues to invest in delivering a strong customer experience and this
needs to be true even in an emergency when we cannot foresee customer needs or
demands,” said Peter Russell, Head of Public Sector at BT in Northern Ireland.
“We selected Arise as a key partner because it allows us to provide on-demand
support in highly critical but fluctuating demand scenarios. Arise, through
its network of highly skilled resources, is able to respond whatever the
situation and provide us with an ability to support customers when we need to,
but without built-in cost when we don’t need the service. Together, we can
deliver on our promise to bring the best service and support to our customers
whilst saving customers time, effort and money.”
BT awarded Arise a seven-year contract to use its services to deliver the most
flexible service possible. “We are delighted to work with BT Ireland using our
award winning Starmatic® scheduling technology and flexible network of
independent contractors that are available 24/7,” David Cartwright, CEO, Arise
Starmatic®, Arise’s patented IP-based workforce management solution, was a
recipient of the 2013 IP Contact Center Technology Pioneer Award from CUSTOMER
magazine. The prestigious award honors companies that have produced
innovative, 'Best in Class' IP contact center solutions in the past 12 months.
Starmatic™ combines IP and telephony networks with state-of-the-art mapping
and scheduling software to create a one-of-a-kind agent management tool.
Starmatic™ originated from Arise's need to route calls to thousands of
dispersed locations and manage resource levels in real-time to meet the
fluctuating customer care needs of its clients. Since that time, it has become
a best-in-class example of how to provide customers with world-class service.
“BT represents innovation in the telecommunications and managed services
industry, and we are excited to be selected by them,” said Keir Greenwood,
Director Client Results EMEA at Arise Virtual Solutions. Arise will help BT
offer the ultimate in a flexible and reliable customer experience, in a
critical emergency environment.
