The Utility Analytics Institute today announced that Southern Company will
co-host the second annual Utility Analytics Week in its headquarters city of
Atlanta, Ga., Sept. 23-25, along with co-host Cobb Electric Membership
Cooperative. Southern Company executives and analytics leaders – whom hold
board and working group positions in the Utility Analytics Institute – are
also working with Utility Analytics Institute staff to develop conference
sessions. Southern Company Chairman, President and CEO Thomas A. Fanning will

As the only case-study focused conference developed by utility and industry
peers, Utility Analytics Week provides a forum for utilities to ask and answer
tough questions and share best practices, lessons learned and challenges
overcome to launch successful analytics programs.
