COSTA MESA, Calif., July 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --On Tuesday, July 23, Hyundai
Motor America and its U.S. dealer council, through their nonprofit
organization Hyundai Hope On Wheels®, will celebrate the grand opening of the
Hyundai Cancer Institute. Hyundai Motor America will present CHOC Children's
with the third$2.0 million installment of a $10 million research grant
committed in 2011. This grant is the largest corporate gift in CHOC Children's
history. Funds are being used for pediatric cancer research at the Hyundai
Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's, using the latest advances in genomic
medicine to provide more effective, individualized treatment for children
afflicted with this disease. Hyundai will also present CHOC Children's with
two new 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport vehicles.

To celebrate the Hyundai Cancer Institute at CHOC Children's, Hope On Wheels
will host a special performance focused on the idea that "Every Handprint
Tells A Story." Hope On Wheels collects the handprints of children affected by
cancer through its signature Handprint Ceremony because they each represent an
individual child's story of hope and courage. Their collective narrative
provides a powerful message that Hope On Wheels shares nationwide to raise
awareness for this cause.
