In addition to responsibility for all aspects of Design Engineering at the Company's four global Design Centers, the expanded role will also include responsibility for worldwide Applications Engineering. Dr. Jantzi succeeds outgoing Vice President of Engineering Lance Greggain who is leaving Spectra7 to pursue other opportunities. Dr. Jantzi was also Director of Engineering at Fresco Microchip where he played a key role in the development of their TV demodulator chips that rapidly ramped to over 40 million units in shipments. Dr. Jantzi received his Ph.D. from the highly acclaimed analog and RF Engineering program at the University of Toronto where he worked with renowned experts Kenneth Martin and Adel Sedra. He has authored or co-authored over a dozen IEEE papers and holds 6 U.S. Patents.
