An extraordinary General Meetingin Cermaq ASA was held today.

The General Meeting granted withmore than a 2/3 majority the Board of
Directors the authorisation to sellall or parts of the company's fish feed
business EWOS also in situations covered by the Norwegian Securities Trading
Act § 6-17 (1), cf- § 6-17 (2). Theauthorisation includes the determination
of the terms and structure of any potential transaction.The authorisation is
valid until December 31 2013.

Minutes from the extraordinary General Meeting will be published as soon as it
has been finalised.
