Macy’s is taking social networking to a new level with fun, interactive ways
to shop, connect and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and events that will
help students prep to go back to school in style. With incredible savings on
the coolest brands to experiential activations, new social programs, Facebook

First Day of School Photo Sweepstakes
Capturing photos of little ones on their first day of a school is a must, and
this year Macy’s is offering a chance to win a $500 Macy’s gift card for
sharing those special photos. From Aug. 13 to Sept. 11, customers can visit
Macy’s Facebook page at macys.com/facebook to upload a photo of their student,
aged 5 through 10, on the first day of school. Five lucky customers will each
win a $500 Macy’s gift card.

Teen Vogue Back-to-School Saturday
Saturday, Aug. 10 has been designated Teen Vogue Back-to-School Saturday, a
one-day shopping extravaganza for the best deals on everything for back to

Macy’s will make a special appearance on “Pretty Little Liars,” one of the

that will deliver its 10 millionth book to children in need through the Be
Book Smart campaign. The campaign invites Macy’s customers coast-to-coast to
give $3 to help provide a book for a child in their local communities. Now
through July 21, customers who make a $3 donation to RIF will receive a coupon
for $10 off an in-store purchase of $50 or more, and Macy’s will donate 100
percent of every $3 ticket to RIF.
