today announced  that in the first half of 2013 it has added more than a dozen
global retailers and restaurants to its B2C and B2B digital gifting platform,
and has expanded into new international markets, becoming the largest operator
of consumer eGifting programs for retailers outside of North America. Already
the largest provider within North America, CashStar is experiencing a
record-breaking year across the business.

Retail and Restaurant Brands Use CashStar to Manage Plastic Gift Card Programs
A number of brands are now using the CashStar platform for their plastic gift
card programs online. These brands now have a full-service one-stop shop for
all their online gift card needs, and benefit from a unified and integrated
ordering and delivery experience, as well as the same best-in-class fraud
monitoring and risk mitigation. CashStar is the only company in the industry

CashStar Now the Largest in International eGifting
CashStar has expanded its international presence with several new client wins
in the UK, including B&Q, a multinational DIY and home improvement retailer.
CashStar now operates the consumer eGifting programs for 15 brands outside of
North America, with another 11 slated to go live in the next month across
Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and the entire European Union.

CashStar Signs New Bulk Deals and Distribution Partners
CashStar has also signed a number of major brands, including FTD.com and Red
Robin, to its B2B platform for bulk purchases and API integration with
distribution partners. Additionally, the company has inked deals with 20 new
distribution partners this year, providing valuable distribution channels for
retail restaurants and brands. One such partnership is iBotta, the leading
mobile shopping application in the grocery retail space, with more than a
million users. Other new distribution partners include Publisher’s
Clearinghouse and Ebates, among others.

As previously announced, CashStar doubled its Q1 2013 performance over the
previous year, and revenue for the month of May looked more like a December,
given exceptionally high demand for eGifts purchased on mobile devices around
Mother’s Day. Now, for the first time in the company’s five-year history, June
outperformed May by 4 percent, fueled by a stronger-than-expected Father’s Day
and demand for special offers from clients such as Dell, Staples, and P.F.
Chang’s. Overall, CashStar’s second quarter grew 85  percent year-over-year,
positioning the company well going into the second half of the year,
traditionally the company’s most active period.
