'BMOst of Summer' Financial Tip of the Day: Try a 'Triple Play' This Summer to
Earn More Rewards
TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/13 -- As part of BMO
Financial Group's ongoing commitment to financial literacy and
'Making Money Make Sense', BMO is releasing a financial tip every day
in the summer to help Canadians make the 'BMOst of summer' in 2013.
'BMOst of Summer' Financial Tip of the Day: Try a 'triple play' this
summer to earn more rewards.
Loyalty reward programs provide a practical and convenient way to
take advantage of a broad array of redemption options. To make the
most of your spending power this summer, earn rewards three times
faster by making a 'triple play' through a few simple steps.
"To maximize your summer spending, use your loyalty rewards credit
card to make purchases at merchants who participate in the same
rewards program affiliated with your card. For example, through a
program such as the AIR MILES Reward Program, you can time your
purchases to take advantage of special in-store or online bonus
rewards offers, you can end up earning rewards even faster," said
Nick Mastromarco, Director, BMO Bank of Montreal.
To help Canadians make the 'BMOst of Summer' and get more out of
every dollar they spend, BMO is offering 500 bonus AIR MILES reward
miles with the no-fee BMO AIR MILES credit card when you spend $200
on an eligible card until October 31st, 2013. For further
information, drop by a BMO branch or visit bmo.com.
The survey results cited in the BMO Summer Spending Report are from
online interviews with a random sample of 1,513 Canadians 18 years of
age and over, conducted by Pollara between May 23 and May 27, 2013. A
probability sample of this size would yield results accurate to +/-
2.5 per cent, 19 times out of 20.
