AMD Announces Keynote Lineup for APU13: A Tour de Force of Heterogeneous 
Compute Leaders 
Third Annual AMD Developer Summit Brings Top Minds Together to Propel
the Future of Computing Architectures, Programming and Experiences 
SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/09/13 --  AMD (NYSE: AMD) today
announced the initial lineup of keynote speakers for the 2013 AMD
Developer Summit, APU13. The third annual three-day event will be
held in San Jose, Calif., Nov. 11-14, 2013, where AMD and industry
leaders will delve into key market trends regarding next generation
software and computing experience development, the emerging
Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA) standard, and the latest in
the use of industry-standard application programming interfaces such
as OpenCL(TM), Microsoft DirectCompute and C++ AMP.

top minds from the developer and computing communities into one event
focused on the innovators and technologies that will make
heterogeneous computing accessible to mainstream developers," said

computing ecosystem, we continue to drive open and industry standards
for widespread adoption by developers. Our goal is to provide

manager, Global Business Units; Mark Papermaster, senior vice
president and chief technology officer; and Phil Rogers, corporate

and APU technologies and their inclusion in the most widespread or
next-generation gaming platforms across mobile, tablet, PC,
online/cloud and console.
