Slingbox Veteran Raghu Tarra Joins Arrayent, Inc.
Raghu Tarra brings to Arrayent a proven track record of connecting millions of
consumer devices to the Cloud and mobile apps
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- July 9, 2013
Arrayent, Inc., the leader in connected product platforms for consumer
products, announced today that Raghu Tarra, founding member of Sling Media,
has joined Arrayent as VP of Engineering. Raghu will lead the engineering and
customer engagement teams for the Arrayent Connect Platform.
Prior to joining Arrayent, Raghu served as Senior Vice President and General
Manager of Echostar's Sling Business Unit. Over the past 9 years, Raghu built
and ran Sling's worldwide engineering team, managing embedded system hardware,
cloud platform, and mobile apps. The Sling cloud has grown to support millions
of Sling-enabled devices. Raghu has more than 20 years of experience building
and managing geographically distributed engineering teams. He holds multiple
patents in the video streaming and networking domains.

Prior to Sling, Raghu held management positions at Infineon Technologies North
America Corp., RealChip Communications, Inc., and Areva T&D. Raghu holds a
M.S. in Electronics and Control Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology
and Science, and a B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from
Coimbatore Institute of Technology.
