By connecting two historically separate functions - backend supply chain
process and efficiency with frontend commerce and selling systems - and
through being able to present a single view of available inventory from across
the enterprise, Manhattan's solutions will enable Eram Group to fulfil
omni-channel orders efficiently and profitably from anywhere in their network.
"When we decided to embark on our business transformation project, we
intuitively thought Manhattan Associates' solutions would be a good fit to
help us get much closer to our customers," explains François Drouin, head of
Information and Organization Systems at Eram Group. "They already had a great
track record doing this for large and successful omni-channel retailers – both
locally in France and in many other markets around the world. They already had
customers using their solutions to connect backend supply chain processes with
frontend commerce and sales systems. What really became clear, in talking with
the Manhattan team and with existing Manhattan customers, was that, beyond
their solutions, they possessed the level of expertise, experience and support
capability we needed to help turn our omni-channel vision into a reality."
Henri Seroux, managing director at Manhattan Associates France, commented,
"We're very much looking forward to working alongside Eram Group on their
transformation project. We're confident that Eram Group can in turn look
forward to a future where, with the support of our solutions, they can rely on
a supply chain that will anticipate their customers' needs, deliver on their
customers' choices, and allow their customers to control how and when they
take delivery of ordered goods."
