AMTRAK KEYSTONE SERVICE SUSPENDED HARRISBURG TO LANCASTER

Amtrak Keystone Service Suspended Between Harrisburg & Lancaster 
Fire involving Norfolk Southern freight train closes tracks 
The Amtrak Keystone Service is currently suspended between Harrisburg and 
Lancaster due to a fire involving Norfolk Southern freight cars in the area of 
Mount Joy.  
A bus bridge operation is being planned for Amtrak passengers traveling on 
Trains 42 & 43 (The Pennsylvanian), as well as Keystone Service trains 609 & 
643.  
Amtrak management is on the scene and coordinating with Norfolk Southern.  
Further updates will be issued when information warrants. 
Passengers who have paid but choose not to travel due to this service
disruption can receive a refund or a voucher for future travel. Some
tickets booked online that have not yet been printed can be modified or
canceled on Amtrak.com or by using the free Amtrak mobile app.
