SAN FRANCISCO -- July 2, 2013

The Mocana MAP Developers’ Program continued to gain momentum today as Mocana,
the app security leader, announced that a total of 40 market-leading companies
are now members of the program, including 28 new members who joined since the
program was launched twelve weeks ago. By joining the MAP Developers’ Program,
these companies are ensuring that their enterprise customers will be able to
quickly custom-secure their mobile apps to meet specific security requirements
using the Mocana Mobile App Protection™ (MAP™) security solution.

The Mocana MAP Developers’ Program provides free tools, technical support and
co-marketing opportunities for enterprise and ISV developers building secure
mobile apps. The program gives developers access to Mocana’s industry-leading
Mobile App Protection (MAP) technology. Mocana’s application-wrapping approach
enables developers to offer security features such as per-app VPN, FIPS 140-2
data-at-rest encryption and jailbreak detection to any Android™ or iOS
enterprise app, without having to write a single line of code. This allows
developers to address the growing and lucrative enterprise application market.

“We are happy to welcome these innovative partners into our MAP Developers’
Program, and look forward to helping them break the enterprise mobile app
deployment bottleneck with Mocana’s unique app-wrapping technology,” said Kurt
Stammberger, CISSP, vice president of market development at Mocana. “The tools
and technology available through the program help our partners reduce their
security engineering costs while simultaneously opening up new enterprise
markets for their apps. It’s a compelling security solution their enterprise
customers will appreciate.”

The new members include some of the most recognized names in the industry,
including SAP, Alcatel Lucent, Verizon, Nvidia and L-3 Communications, as well
as many other technology leaders, including Accellion, Box, SAS,
MicroStrategy, Apperian, Oceus Networks and Merlin International. (For a
complete list of participating companies, see

The MAP Developers’ Program also provides mobile developers with free access
to the new MAP Testing Workbench™, an online self-certification service that
allows them to test-wrap their apps with Mocana security. Free support from
Mocana is available to help developers through the testing process. The
program also offers developers a variety of opportunities to co-market with
Mocana, including joint webinars, speaking slots at the Amphion Forum, joint
promotions and more.
