CARNEGIE, Pa., July 1, 2013

CARNEGIE, Pa., July 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Take your summer
vacation and get back in time to shop.  For your convenience, The Salvation
Army and WTAE TV's Project Bundle-Up's Annual Online Auction is moving from
July to August through early September.  More than 400 items have been
provided by generous donors and are available for sale online from August
23^rd through September 6^th.  Items include multiple golf certificates, a
wide variety of services, gift certificates, furniture, appliances,
electronics, gift baskets, signed sports memorabilia, and so much more.

For 27 years, the WTAE Project Bundle-Up Auction has played a critical role in
providing hundreds of thousands of coats, hats, mittens and boots for needy
children and seniors across Western Pennsylvania.  Founded in 1986 by WTAE-TV
Channel 4 and The Salvation Army, Project Bundle-Up has raised more than 11.8
million dollars and served more than 236,000 needy kids and seniors with new
winter outerwear.  The annual auction is one of the primary ways that Project
Bundle-Up raises funds to provide personal shopping trips for nearly 7,500
deserving individuals each year.

Shop until you drop in the convenience of your own home and provide new winter
outerwear for area needy kids and seniors.  Simply log onto to either
www.projectbundleup.com, www.wtae.com; or www.salvationarmy-wpa.org and follow
the prompts and links.  You may also access through eBay, however, items are
only featured on that site for a maximum of seven days.  You can view all
items during the auction duration at www.projectbundleup.com.  Each week will
feature new items up for bid on eBay.  You will need to register with eBay to
bid or buy an item and payment and shipping will be handled through
correspondence via eBay. MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted via
PayPal.  The Project Bundle-Up Online Auction offers free shipping on
shippable items.  Some larger items will require pick-up.  All sales are "as
is" and final and cannot be returned for cash.

Donations of items and services to the online auction are still being
accepted.  For more information on how your contribution can be packaged and
promoted, contact Melissa Fereday, Project Bundle-Up Director, at (412)
446-1639.
