The donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston
will support their Summer Learning Program that addresses the
“summer slide” experienced by at-risk and underserved youth.
The "summer slide" often occurs when youth are out of school
during the summer without exposure to activities that
reinforce concepts learned during the school year. This
engaging program provides high-yield learning activities
centered on math, reading, science, and fine arts.

For more than a century, Boys & Girls Clubs have served
nearly 4 million young people, through membership and
community outreach, in some 4,000 Club facilities throughout
                 the country.
