Encore Awarded South Carolina State Contract as Dell Authorized Reseller

Encore Awarded South Carolina State Contract as Dell Authorized Reseller
EASLEY, SC -- (Marketwired) -- 06/27/13 -- Encore Technology Group,
one of the Southeast's largest independent technology solution
providers, today announced that it has been awarded a contract
(#5000013548) from the State of South Carolina's Information
Technology Management Office for Dell computing solutions. This new
contract, which is effective immediately, amends the existing
WSCA-NASPO Contract #B27160 for "Computer Equipment, Peripherals and
Related Services," which now exclusively names Encore as a Dell
Authorized Reseller.
The contract makes it easy for state agencies, public universities,
K-12 schools, municipalities, counties and other state-funded
organizations in South Carolina to procure Dell products from Encore.
It eliminates all lengthy bidding and due diligence processes, and
leverages Dell's government-preferred pricing structure. Encore's new
contract, as Dell Authorized Reseller, covers the procurement,
configuration, installation and maintenance of Dell desktops,
laptops, tablets, monitors, printers, scanners, multifunction devices
and various network components.
Encore is a Dell Premier Partner, the highest partnership level
achievable in Dell's PartnerDirect Program, with demonstrated
competencies and certifications in Dell storage, server, systems
management, networking and security, desktop virtualization and data
protection technologies. Encore invests heavily in Dell training and
certification. Its team members hold numerous individual Dell
certifications, and they also have vast hands-on experience with Dell
products.
"Dell has been a pioneer in the computing technologies space for
nearly three decades. Our team members are always quick to advocate
for Dell products because of how well they perform in the technology
solutions we build for our public and private sector clients, not
just in South Carolina but throughout the nation," said Keone Trask,
chief business development officer for Encore Technology Group. "This
contract builds upon our successful Premier Partnership with Dell and
reinforces the quality, service and ease of procurement commitments
we make to our clients."
Encore offers many products and services in support of modern
technology solutions, including borderless networks, unified
communications, interactive technologies, physical security systems,
cloud-based managed services, etc. One of its specialties is the
build-out of connected classrooms; its team has created over 40,000
connected classrooms in K-12 schools alone.
