Yet another cost-efficient OptiConcept M line to be delivered to Asia

Metso will supply Zhejiang Jingxing Paper Joint Stock Co., Ltd. with an

"The line ordered by Zhejiang Jingxing Paper will be the fourth OptiConcept
M-type production line to be supplied to Asia. The first line delivered was
started up in China in December 2012. This latest project introduces the
newest member in the OptiConcept M family, widening Metso's offering to serve
the narrower trim width of 5,650 mm. This represents Metso's strategic move to
enter this narrow segment, especially in China and Asia-Pacific," says Petri
Paukkunen, Vice President, Paper Mills Sales and Marketing, Metso.

Metso's novel OptiConcept M production line stands for economy of total
investment, personnel safety and machine usability as well as reduction of
environmental load. The production line optimizes the machine investment in
line with the mill's capacity needs and ensures optimized productivity at
minimal operational cost.

According to Sami Anttilainen, R&D Director, Paper business line, Metso, the
development project of this new trim width range has been very dynamic. "The
confidence shared by the entire development team in the new concept created a
strong basis for uniform engineering resulting in a well-functioning
fit-for-purpose concept," Anttilainen summarizes.

The main part of the order is included in Metso's Pulp, Paper and Power second
quarter 2013 orders received, and the automation package in Automation's
second quarter 2013 orders received.

Metso's delivery will comprise a complete OptiConcept M boardmaking line from
