today that Peter Schuele has joined VWR as the Company's Senior Vice President
and President ofEuropean Lab Business.

Mr. Schuele joins VWR from Sigma Aldrich Corporation where he served as Vice
President, Supply Chain Europe, Middle East and Africa, developing and
implementing supply chain strategy and structure for its European operations.
Since joining Sigma-Aldrich in 1994, Mr. Schuele held numerous Operations and
Sales leadership positions, supporting the German market, as well as the
broader European organization. Prior to Sigma Aldrich, Mr. Schuele has held
various logistics roles in the industry.
