NEWTON, Mass. -- June 25, 2013

Conversational marketing technology provider Neolane, Inc., today announced
that theMuseum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), has selected Neolane’s technology
to support campaign management and drive top-line growth by enhancing its
member, visitor and prospect experience. One of the largest museums in the
U.S., the MFA attracts approximately one-million visitors a year and has more
than 450,000 works of art among its holdings, making it one of the most
comprehensive collections in the Americas.

The MFA’s goal is to reach the right audience with a targeted message that
best matches museum exhibition suggestions and campaigns with personal
preferences. The museum recognized that it needed a technology platform that
would allow it to tap into its growing data warehouse, where it captures the
behaviors and preferences of visitors. Now the MFA will be able to react based
on real-time data and support the launch of time-sensitive campaigns.

When evaluating Neolane against competitors, the conversational marketing
provider won for its ability to leverage the MFA’s data in its current form,
and for its intuitive platform that can support the museum today as well as in
the future. The MFA was impressed with Neolane’s product roadmap and
anticipates utilizing new features down the line. The museum also wanted a
solution that would drive campaign efficiency and effectiveness. Previously,
the MFA relied on an email service provider, but sought a more robust,
integrated solution to launch its cross-channel campaigns.

“Our data provides insight into the behaviors of our visitors and members,
including when and how often they visited and whether they shop and dine with
us. The MFA strives to become more customer centric and understand our guests
and prospects’ lifestyles. If we do that properly, we can deliver targeted
information that is relevant and useful, rather than overwhelming them about
offers that are not of interest to them,” said Edward Gargiulo, Director of
Membership at the MFA. “Neolane is allowing us to execute our vision for
improved customer and prospect communication and empowering us to engage
across multiple channels.”

“The MFA is one of the country’s most visited museums. If we can help the MFA
reach its members and visitors with relevant and timely communications, we can
help introduce people to great pieces of art,” said Stephan Dietrich,
President, Neolane. “The MFA recognized that our technology is unique to other
vendors they evaluated because we can deliver data integration to execute
personalized, timely, cross-channel campaigns.”
