GfK to Lead Discussions on Medical Device Design, Fieldwork at EphMRA 2013
NEW YORK -- June 25, 2013
At the 2013 European Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Association (EphMRA)
conference, GfK will chair discussions on two key industry issues: medical
device design and fieldwork. EphMRA 2013 – on the theme “Shaping the Future:
New Directions in Research” – will be held in London on June 25 to 27, 2013.
GfK’s Chris Krattiger from GfK Switzerland will co-chair an interactive
session on the 26^th entitled “Spotlight on Fieldwork – Opportunities and
Challenges.” The discussion will feature speakers from client companies,
full-service agencies, fieldwork agencies, and organizations, and will cover
opportunities, challenges, and solutions in fielding research.
And on the 27^th, Krattiger will chair a session entitled “How to Open a
Carton of Soup,” on how to use market research to design user-friendly medical
devices – and what the pharmaceutical industry can learn from the medical

pharmaceutical market research projects, with a specialization in oncology and
