This is the fourth year that the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal has partnered with Indiana-based Healthiest Employers LLC to determine the Healthiest Employers of the Twin Cities. For this year’s list, 65 companies registered for the awards with 22 making the list. Companies named to the list vary in industry and in size – from five to 5,000 employees. In its size category, Allianz Life ranked first - above Prime Therapeutics, LLC and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota both headquartered in Eagan, Minn. Allianz Life also had the third highest overall survey score out of the 22 companies that made the Healthiest Employers list. Before being considered for the award, employees completed a 75-question survey assessing their employer in six areas including: culture and leadership commitment, foundational components, strategic planning, communications and marketing, programming and interventions, and reporting and analysis.
