SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/24/13 -- RightScale(R)
Inc., a demonstrated leader in enterprise multi-cloud management,
today announced integration with the new Rackspace Cloud in
Australia. Organisations can now take advantage of the RightScale
cloud management platform with 24x7 support for the Rackspace
Australian Cloud.
The RightScale cloud management platform enables customers to easily
deploy and manage business-critical applications across public,

worldwide and has been used to launch millions of cloud servers. The
RightScale integration to the Rackspace Australian Cloud provides
customers a full-featured management framework which includes

deployments. In Australia and across Asia, enterprises are working
with RightScale to integrate cloud benefits into their IT strategies
with a focus on hybrid cloud architectures.
"We are excited about the launch of the Rackspace Cloud in
Australia," said Angus Dorney, Director and General Manager,
Rackspace Australia and New Zealand. "We are experiencing growing
demand for the Rackspace Cloud and we are pleased to partner with
RightScale to help enterprises experience the transformational
benefits of our public and hybrid cloud architectures, backed by
Rackspace's Fanatical Support."
"Australian enterprises are looking for ways to bridge traditional
enterprise IT with cloud computing. RightScale offers professional
services, integrated support and an enterprise-grade cloud management
platform that combines governance, DevOps and automation to help IT
organisations succeed," said Giri Fox, Sydney-based Director,
Asia-Pacific for RightScale. "Rackspace's founding history of

combine to bring deep expertise across both public, private and
hybrid clouds."

Compute Engine, Windows Azure, HP, and SoftLayer. In Australia,
PlanForCloud.com offers regional AWS and Rackspace pricing that
enables sophisticated modeling of cloud components including servers,
storage, databases and data transfers, as well as usage scenarios
that incorporate growth, seasonality and other variability in the

RightScale in Australia
 Today's announcement builds on RightScale's
existing business in APAC and in Australia, in particular. According
to the October 2012 Cloud Computing Market Research Report from
IBISWorld*, the adoption of cloud computing continues to grow in
Australia, total industry revenue in 2012 was expected to be $1.24
billion, up 7.8% from 2011.
Examples of RightScale momentum in the region include:

-- Local professional support: RightScale's Asia-Pacific efforts are
headquartered in Sydney and headed up by Giri Fox, an IT veteran with
a background in enterprise client management at leading organisations
such as Cisco, Apple and IBM. RightScale also has offices in Korea,
    Japan and Singapore.
-- Customers: RightScale's customer list in Australia and in SE Asia
continues to grow. An increasing number of companies are relying on
RightScale technology to migrate hundreds of applications from
dedicated on-premise hardware to hybrid clouds.
-- Multi-cloud support: RightScale is a multi-cloud platform and
announced integration and support for Amazon AWS Australia in
November, 2012. RightScale also supports Windows Azure, which
Microsoft announced will have data centres in Australia in the future.
