Live demonstration of the eVgo network's first operational EV charging station
in the D.C. area

The Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA) and the eVgo^® network will
host an exclusive preview of the first operational fast-charging Freedom
Station for electric vehicles in the greater Washington D.C. areaon
Wednesday, June 26^th at 1:30 p.m.

The demonstration will take place at the eVgo Freedom Station next to
Walgreens in Van Ness (4225 Connecticut Ave NW). Freedom Stations feature
480-volt fast chargers and 240-volt standard chargers. Fast chargers are
capable of charging an electric car up to 150 miles of range per hour. The
standard 240-volt chargers are compatible with any electric vehicle with a
plug. eVgo spokespeople will be on hand to demonstrate the use of the Freedom
Station and answer questions regarding eVgo's plans for expansion in the
Washington, D.C. area.
