FactSet Research Systems Inc.Research Report

On June 18, 2013, FactSet Research Systems (FactSet) reported its Q3 FY 2013
financial results (period ended May 31, 2013). The Company reported revenue
growth of 6.1% YoY to $214.6 million. Operating income was $71.6 million
compared to $68.5 million in Q3 FY 2012. The Company's net income was $53.4
million compared to $48 million in Q3 FY 2012, and diluted EPS was $1.20
compared to $1.05 in Q3 FY 2012. "We again delivered double-digit diluted EPS
growth and our free cash flow reached an all-time high of $92 million during
the third quarter of fiscal 2013. Off-market conditions, especially on the
sell-side, continue to interrupt client buying patterns and limited our ASV
growth this quarter as expected," said Philip A. Hadley, Chairman and Chief
Executive Officer. "We continue to return capital to shareholders as evidenced
by a 13% increase in our dividend and a $200 million expansion to our share
repurchase program during the quarter." The Full Research Report on FactSet

On June 19, 2013, Finisar Corporation (Finisar) announced its Q4 FY 2013 and
full-year FY 2013 financial results (period ended April 28, 2013) The
Company's revenues for the quarter increased to $243.4 million, up 2.1% QoQ
driven by strength in datacom product sales, partially offset by lower product
revenue. For FY 2013, the Company reported revenues of $934.3 million, down
1.9% YoY. Compared to FY 2012, the sale of products from datacom applications
increased 10%, primarily from sales of 10G and 100G transceivers and
transponders, while the sales of products for telecom applications decreased
17.3%, mainly as a result of sluggish carrier capital expenditure levels.
Jerry Rawls, Finisar's Executive Chairman of the Board, said, "Our favorable
product mix in the quarter enabled us to achieve gross margin and earnings per
diluted share that exceeded our guidance range." The Full Research Report on
