LIN TV Corp. (“LIN Media”; NYSE: TVL), a local multimedia company, is pleased
to announce the recipients of its 2013 Minority Scholarship and Training
Program in both Broadcast and Digital Media. Since the launch of the program
in 1998, LIN Media has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarship funds to
ambitious students interested in a wide spectrum of fields in or relating to
broadcast television and digital media.

LIN Media’s 2013 Minority Broadcast Scholarship and Training Program was
awarded to Cameron Edgeworth, a junior at the University of Alabama in
Birmingham. As the first in his family to attend college, Mr. Edgeworth is
pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis

programming board. He is involved in numerous school and community
organizations, including Family Youth Initiative, Give Kids the World Village
and Heritage Group. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Latimore participated in the Disney
College Program, where he took part in personal and career development classes

in digital media through a paid summer 2013 internship at WAVY-TV/WVBT-TV, the
local NBC and FOX affiliates in Norfolk, VA.

In addition to the summer internships, both students will each receive a
