Diodes Incorporated Adds Shift Registers and Decoders to Enhanced CMOS Logic
  Families

Business Wire

PLANO, Texas -- June 20, 2013

Diodes Incorporated (Nasdaq: DIOD), a leading global manufacturer and supplier
of high-quality application specific standard products within the broad
discrete, logic and analog semiconductor markets, today announced the addition
of standard shift register and decoder logic ICs to its enhanced 74HC, 74HCT,
74AHC and 74AHCT CMOS logic families. Based on the company’s updated 5V CMOS
process, the popular 595, 594 and 138 logic functions offer improvements
versus industry-standard alternatives in power-to-performance ratio and ESD
protection, making them suitable for smart domestic appliances, data
communication, and residential and industrial control applications.

The 8-bit shift register with 8-bit storage register (with and without
tri-state outputs) and 3-to-8 line decoder are direct drop-in replacements for
industry-standard logic devices, and are available in a choice of SO-16 and
TSSOP-16 packages.

With a wide 2.0V to 5.5V operating voltage range, these logic parts are
suitable for an array of uses, including 5V legacy systems and residential and
industrial control systems. Additionally, the input hysteresis of the 24 new
devices makes them less susceptible to problems of slow rising or falling data
signals. For further information, visit the Company’s website at
