  SKF Signs SEK 900 Million Long-Term Contract with Turbomeca

10-year agreement for engine bearings

SKF (STO:SKFA)(STO:SKFB)(Pink Sheets:SKFRY)(LSE:SKFB) has signed a long-term
contract for around SEK 900 million with Turbomeca, a division of the
French-based Safran. The contract includes the supply of
bearings(http://www.skf.com/group/industry-solutions/aerospace/solutions/aeroengine-bearings/index.html)
for the latest Turbomeca engine, Arrano.

The new Arrano, 1100 HP engine is designed to equip four to six ton
helicopters. It will offer 10 to 15 per cent lower fuel consumption,
contributing to improved performance (range and payload) and reduced
environmental footprint.
