Procera Networks to Present on Mobile Broadband Network Intelligence and
Monetization at Broadband Latin America 2013
Will Demonstrate Industry Leading Real-Time, Dynamic LiveView
Analytics Capabilities
FREMONT, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/19/13 -- Procera Networks, Inc.
(NASDAQ: PKT), the global network intelligence company, today
announced it will participate in two speaking sessions and showcase
its carrier-grade PacketLogic(TM) Intelligent Policy Enforcement
(IPE) solutions and Dynamic LiveView real-time query and reporting
capabilities at Broadband Latin America 2013, taking place July 2-3
at the Grand Hyatt in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
On Tuesday, July 2 at 3:20 p.m., Procera's senior director of LATAM
Sales, Eddy Bueno, joins representatives from Avantel Colombia and
the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA) for a panel discussion titled,
"Monetizing Mobile Broadband and Emerging Opportunities with Wireless
Technologies." The panel will explore new business models for network
operators to monetize mobile broadband, and discuss opportunities for
increased profitability created by innovative wireless technologies
while reviewing real world examples of success and lessons learned.
At 4:40 p.m. the same day, Procera's director of Solutions Marketing,
Ken Osowski, delivers a session titled, "Leveraging Internet
Intelligence for Demonstrable ROI." Mr. Osowski will define Internet
intelligence, explore its role in measuring and maximizing ROI for
mobile operators including a discussion of key solutions, and present
on how highly accurate network traffic classification enables cost
avoidance and enhances profitability.
"Latin American broadband services have experienced incredible growth
in the past ten years and it is likely to continue in the near
future, representing significant revenue opportunities," said Ken
Osowski. "However, service providers will soon find that high levels
of broadband subscriber penetration have led to a saturated market
and they will need to find creative ways to monetize the data flowing
across networks to create sticky new profitable services. Network
intelligence, analytics and Intelligent Policy Enforcement are the
key capabilities that will enable the transition to increased ROI for
data services."
In addition to presenting at the event, Procera will showcase its
carrier-grade IPE products for both fixed and mobile service
providers and demonstrate its Dynamic LiveView traffic monitoring
application. PacketLogic IPE solutions provide detailed subscriber
awareness and enforce business and charging policies in real-time to
manage traffic for optimization of network infrastructure investments
while delivering profitable new differentiated service creation.
Dynamic LiveView is an industry-first feature that enables network
operators, cloud providers, and high-speed enterprises to gain
real-time insights into network and subscriber usage patterns.
Network operations, marketing and other departments can now create
customized traffic queries on-the-fly without waiting for a vendor to
deliver custom reports or dashboards that would cost them time and
money, and impact their top line revenues.
